- The pan tied to the walls. The floor membrane and the wall membrane overlap and bond so there is no seam at the most flooded joint in the shower.

Set a torpedo level on the pan from a few directions and confirm it reads downhill toward the drain everywhere, with no flat spots and no back-pitch toward a corner.
